Cisco Contract Search By Serial Number

in I found only the chassis serial number that the product is covered by an active Cisco service contract but not says nothing moreJust I need know the number the Cisco service contract like active, where I can find more information, in the Cisco License Portal says; not there service contract

What is the device you are trying to look up, and it's serial number? I've seen it sometimes with some things that I've looked up using Device Coverage Checker will say something is covered, but not show any details, where as the License Portal does show the details. You might have to email the partner that you ordered the contract through, and see if they can look it up on their end, and/or reach out to Cisco to find out the contract number for you.

I have 2 Cisco SFP modules and I need to check whether it is a Cisco product or not. I tried Device Coverage Check which validate the product coverage with Cisco contract. If the product isn't cover with a contract it gives product unavailable but this doesn't mean that product isn't a Cisco product it means that this serial number isn't exist Cisco contract database. Accordingly, I need your support to validate the serial number to check whether it is a Cisco product or not.

Ring frontline TAC numbers below they will tell you without even raising a case as they need to check the serial numbers of any device whether under support or not, go to technical support section on the call , they do look legit though I use LH for my long range fibre wan connections they weren't cheap , you can buy sfps that aren't Cisco generic that will still work in there devices but you always run the risk they look different than that , yours look identical to the ones we have and we buy everything through registered isps globally but I would still check them

My Devices is simple to use, allowing you to check a single serial number or multiple serial numbers at the same time. My Devices will check the serial number and return the product details and any contract coverage.

If you just want to quickly check the contract status of a single serial number it is easier to use the My Devices tool. My Devices is used for smaller networks and does not rely on using a collector to collect and upload the data in the same way that SNTC does. SNTC can be considered a tool for larger networks, where the customer wants to automate the collection and upload of the devices. My Devices is for smaller networks with the devices being loaded in manually through the user interface.

Devices loaded into SNTC will not automatically be loaded into the My Devices tool. They are separate tools. If you just want to enter a serial number and check the contract status then it is quicker to use My Devices.

From the Summary page click Add Devices, Click Manual Entry, Click Next, enter a dummy device name, enter the serial number, click Add. Then go to the Devices tab and select the By Coverage section. The device Contract details will be displayed by return.

I already entered SmartNet and serial numbers of some of my equipmentWhy it's not here and what is this site compared to Smart Net Total CareI don't want to enter all my info on just another site What is this site that none of my equipment is here?I just want to enter the serial number to check its status

I am verifying an inventory for a client for which my company is upgrading the network equipment. I have a few serial numbers without the model number on my inventory and wanted to know how I can look up a device and get the model number. I do not have access to the switches in question and was hoping this was available on cisco's web site..

There's a Cisco portal where you can find all their web tools such as the Download Software, ASA CLI Analyzer and Device Coverage Checker. The Cisco Device Coverage Checker is a quick way to verify the device serial number for Cisco SMARTnet coverage or warranty.

I tried to check a device serial number with a valid SMARTnet. Notice under Contract > Status: Covered until 2023. It also provides the Contract number and site installation (with Google map).

Both the UI and the warranty script transmit the same information (relevant serial number(s) to the appropriate vendor via port 443 SSL, including the API key entered into Device42 for this purpose only if required by the vendor (Dell/Meraki). Payload looks as follows:

As long as your API key is active, and devices have a valid model, vendor, and serial information the sync will gather warranty information. On each device in the LifeCycle tab or in Infrastructure > Purchases, you will find past and present warranty information. This includes order details, contract/service types, and dates.

If you have SecurID Access Manager, SecurID Keon, or SecurID ClearTrust products, the license serial number is located on a paper license shipped with the product. Contract your System Administrator to obtain this information.

The serial number can be found on a label on the top of the appliance, as shown below. Please also refer to your Order Confirmation email to obtain other information required when your call SecurID Support. The email will include your serial number, contract number or site ID.

Is there a way to find the serial number of a Meraki access point by the MAC address? I have several that were mounted about 30 ft up in the warehouse but the serial numbers were not recorded. I see the MAC address on the switch but need to get the SN to add to the dashboard.

You can link three types of contracts and warranties. Expand the section below section for the type of contract or warranty you want to link. If you have a large number of contracts and warranties to link, HPE recommends you use the Batch link tool.
